Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-10

These terms are an agreement between you (the business using KadeBill, and the people who use it on its behalf) and KadeBill, Colombo, Sri Lanka("we", "us"). By creating an account or using KadeBill you agree to them.

1. The service

KadeBill is online software for creating, printing and keeping track of invoices, bills and payments. We host it and keep it running; you use it through a web browser.

2. Accounts

  • You must give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your logins.
  • The person who signs a business up is its owner and decides who else gets access.
  • Tell us straight away at support@kadebill.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

3. Free trial

A new business gets a free trial of 14days. When it ends, you can still sign in to view, print and export your records, but you can't create new invoices until you buy a license.

4. Licenses and fees

  • A license is a one-time purchase that lets your business use KadeBill within the limits of its plan (for example, the number of users).
  • A monthly maintenance fee covers hosting, updates and support. Both prices are agreed when you buy.
  • If the maintenance fee is not paid, KadeBill shows a reminder, and 14 days after the unpaid month began the account becomes read-only (as at the end of a trial) until it is paid. Your records stay safe and can still be viewed, printed and exported.
  • Fees are not refundable except where the law requires, or where we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Your data

  • Everything your business enters (invoices, customers, products and so on) belongs to your business. We use it only to provide KadeBill to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You can export your invoices at any time, including while your account is read-only.
  • You are responsible for the content of your invoices, including tax details, and for having the right to store your customers' details in KadeBill.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use KadeBill for anything unlawful, including fake or fraudulent invoices or tax documents. Don't try to access other businesses' data, disrupt the service, or copy or resell the software. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep KadeBill available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We improve KadeBill over time and may change features; we won't take away a core feature you have paid for without telling you first.

8. Liability

KadeBill is a tool: check your invoices before you issue them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits), and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using KadeBill at any time. If you ask us to close your account, we will give you a chance to export your data first and then delete it as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end the agreement if you seriously break these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction.
